Here you will find
maps,
directions and parking information for OLLI-GMU's three sites in
Northern
Virginia––our main campus at Tallwood, near George Mason
University,
Fairfax, Virginia, our satellite location at Lake Anne, in Reston, and
our
pilot-program site at Mason's Loudoun campus, Sterling,
Virginia. The catalog's directions page
contains similar information, with more details.
Use Google Maps for custom driving directions to Tallwood Annex , to the Lake Anne locations, or to the
Loudoun building. (Some
browsers may need permission for Google popups to
appear.) Large
classes are sometimes scheduled at Christ Lutheran Church or Church
of the Good Shepherd. For printable PDF maps
with directions from
Tallwood, select Christ Lutheran or Good Shepherd.
Tallwood.
Tallwood Annex,
located at 4210 Roberts Road, Fairfax, Virginia can only be
accessed from Roberts Road. A not-to-scale map of Tallwood is
shown below. Note that Roberts Road runs in a North-South direction
between Little River Turnpike (Route 236) and Braddock Road. Be
careful approaching Talllwood from the South because the hill obstructs
the view of oncoming traffic.
Parking
at Tallwood. There is a limited
amount of parking in front of
Tallwood, including several spaces restricted to vehicles
with
handicapped licenses or tags. Main parking is available in the swimming
pool parking lot (leased by OLLI-GMU during class hours and shown in
this
photo) immediately to
the right as you
face Tallwood (i.e., directly North of Tallwood). If both of these lots
are full, you may park on Forest Avenue, the first street beyond the
swimming pool lot (i.e., North of
the lot) or on Still Meadow
Road,
directly across the street from Tallwood (i.e., East of Tallwood).
Note: The parking
in the back
of Tallwood is for the use of the administrative staff and instructors
while teaching a class, but may also be used by members with
handicapped tags/plates if all of the spaces reserved for handicapped
at the front are taken.
 Lake Anne.
OLLI-GMU classes at Lake
Anne, Reston,
are held in several locations. Most
classes are offered at the Washington Plaza Baptist Church, with
others offered at the Reston Community Center, Reston Storefront Museum
and Reston Used Book Shop.
All Reston locations are at the
northern end of Lake Anne off North Shore Drive, which loops around
most of the lake. There are several
entrances to North Shore Drive, but
(unless you are a local resident) the best way to enter is at
Village Road, off Baron Cameron Avenue. Entrance signs read Lake
Anne Village Center.

Loudoun.
The Mason campus in
Loudoun County, with modern
well-equipped classrooms, computer labs and
conference rooms, is on the second floor at 21641 Ridgetop Circle in
Sterling. It will house the first OLLI courses to  be offered in Loudoun
County this spring.
