OLLI is a membership organization with an 18-person Board of Directors elected by the membership to three-year terms. One-third of the Board is elected each year. You can recognize Board members by their white name tags. Most committees are chaired by Board members. Activities at OLLI are managed by the executive director (a full-time employee), member volunteers and a small staff of part-time employees. OLLI members are encouraged to participate in the many support functions by volunteering; see the volunteer page or the Member Handbook (pdf) for more information on volunteering at OLLI.

Officers --
At its first meeting following the annual election of Board members, the Board of Directors elects four of its members to one-year terms as officers. This election last occurred on June 10, 2011, at the new Board's first meeting. Manuel Pablo and Janet Cochran were re-elected as president and secretary, respectively, and Stan Schretter was elected as vice president. Incumbent treasurer David Mason was not eligible for election after having served as treasurer since January 2009 but no other director was willing to run for the office of treasurer. President Manny Pablo, with the approval of the Board, appointed Dave to remain as treasurer for an additional year; this is allowed by a provision in our bylaws.
